Lyric video for Ghost Ship


I made this lyric video using some of my early experiments in TouchDesigner. I’m v new to it, but exploring hand tracking has made me feel like such a hacker it’s insane. 

I found some really neat old photos of Dartmouth in the Nova Scotia archives and overlaid those on top of video that I shot of the spots where I wrote the song. The foggy waterfront, boats in the harbour, new condos going up next to tiny little mom n pop convenience stores. 

I’ve been taking a picture of a couple of scenes in the vacant lot by my house every day since March-ish, so that I could put them together to create stop-motion spring explosion videos of everything greening up.
